Synopsis
Offered the opportunity to move into a fancy apartment in the Bronx, Ralph and Alice must first sublet their old Brooklyn digs. Unable to scare up any potential tenants, Ralph is unable to get out of his current lease, and thus is stuck in Brooklyn, perhaps permanently. With Ed Norton's help, Ralph decides to make himself as loud and obnoxious as possible, thereby forcing his present landlord to tear up the Kramdens' lease. Needless to say, the plan backfires disastrously. Running 37 minutes, "Move Uptown" originally aired on April 24, 1954, as a component of The Jackie Gleason Show.
