Episode Guide
Hair-Raising Tale
Series: The Honeymooners
Synopsis
A pair of con artists dupe Ralph into selling a "miracle" hair-restoring formula. First, however, Ralph must raise $300 to purchase the merchandising rights -- and that's where gullible Ed Norton comes in. Alas, "KramNor's Miracle Restorer" is not quite what it is cracked up to be, and our heroes end up sadder, wiser, and poorer (while at least one important customer ends up balder!). Originally telecast as a 37-minute sketch on the Jackie Gleason Show of May 8, 1954, "Hair-Raising Tale" was repeated September 16, 1967, with songs and in color, on Gleason's Miami-based variety series.
