The team is racing to prevent a Neuro named Phil from assassinating a Chinese official when Jane stumbles into a deadly booby trap. But this Neuro possesses some truly unique powers, the kind of powers which allow him and his cohorts to travel back in time for a second shot at the Chinese official after Connor thwarts their initial attempt. But there's a silver lining in this time-shift: Since the clock has been turned back Jane now has a second shot at life. As the day of the assassination attempt begins to unfold in nearly the exact same fashion as it previously did, a single missing button from Connor's shirt may prove the key to unraveling this mystery. Though the team does indeed manage to thwart Phil's assassination attempt a second time, the Neuro has gone to great lengths to ensure that the third try will be a charm. Phil has the power to travel in the fourth dimension, and shoots Jane when she questions his reasoning for wanting to dispatch with the Chinese official. However, Phil doesn't realize that it's going to take more than a few bullets to get rid of Jane. Just when it seems that Phil has gained the upper hand, the team hatches an ingenious plan to turn the tables on the trigger-happy Neuro.
