Synopsis
As the team members prepare for a much-needed vacation, Jane laments the fact that Brian has chosen business over pleasure. Suddenly, Riley's computers indicate to the team that Simon has broken his house arrest. After tracking Simon to a nearby cemetery, the escaped Neuro delivers a cryptic message before flooding Jane with memories of her fist mission and promptly expiring. Jane, desperate to discover the meaning behind Simon's message, enlists the aid of Riley in breaking into Vonotek. It appears that the Vonotek building has a secret floor, a floor on which handsome men hang from the ceiling like apples on a tree. Though the site causes Jane to take pause, she quickly manages to steal a vial of mysterious liquid and track Vonotek security head Hyde to a building across town. Jane is shocked to find Hyde having a clandestine meeting with her boyfriend Brian, who is supposed to be on a business trip. It's soon revealed that Brian has a secret agenda, he's an investigative reporter tracking a lead about Vonotek's illegal experiments with human growth hormone. Apparently, many of the company's failed experiments involved Neuros. Upon conducting the head of Vonotek himself, Jane discovers that her powers may have been a result of the company's nefarious experiments. But that's only the first in a series of shocking revelations.
