Synopsis
The Knight Sabers receive their briefing: not only is the rogue Boomer wreaking havoc, it's absorbing other machinery it comes in contact with. Brian J. Mason, Genom's vice president, meets with the company's chairman, Quincy Rosenkreutz. Immobile and on life support, Rosenkreutz congratulates Mason on making a Boomer go rogue by inserting the core from a mad Boomer. Watching the battle through the Boomer's cameras, Rosenkreutz admires the Knight Saber's hardsuits. Observing the battle from her own station, Sylia reminisces about the death of her mother, as well as the work of her father, who was the principal designer of the original Boomers. The Boomer makes short work of the AD Police's armored K-suits, and the Knight Sabers manage to defeat it only after seriously depleting their batteries. As they turn to leave, the AD Police open fire on them, and the underpowered Linna is knocked backward from a ledge, falling toward the waiting AD Police.
