Synopsis
Sylia pays a visit to her old friend Dr. Shan, hoping he can give her insights that will help her find the underground lab Brian J. Mason is looking for. By now, she has figured out that the lab is in fact her father's old lab, and she's anxious to find it and seal it before Mason gains access to its secrets. Meanwhile, Nene asks Priss what she knows about Sylia. Priss confesses that she doesn't know much about her from before they met, and wonders why Nene is curious about these things all of a sudden. Nene declines to answer, preferring to search for more data before voicing any concerns. Acting on a hunch, Sylia asks Nigel to create a special sonar device which should help narrow down the lab's location. The device only works at a short range, so she assembles the Knight Sabers to search the 27 possible locations, promising to double their fee for the job. When Sylia reveals that the lab is her father's, Nene blurts out that she's been digging into her private life and found no trace of Mackey. Who, she wants to know, is he? When Sylia refuses to answer, Nene says she can no longer trust her and leaves. (American release in 2000.).
