Synopsis
Once again, Linna's overtime work at Genom delays her response to the Knight Sabers' call to action. When Priss and Nene finish off a rogue boomer before she can even arrive on the scene, she begins to question her usefulness. When her mother asks her to visit her hometown to take care of some business, Linna takes the opportunity to clear her head. Exploring the links between the Knight Sabers and Boomer technology, Mason remembers his days as an assistant to Dr. Stingray -- Sylia's father, the main designer of Boomer technology. While searching through a list of Dr. Stingray's former colleagues, he comes across an entry for Nigel Kirkland, who is now the Knight Sabers' mechanic. Much to Linna's surprise, her parents have set up an arranged-marriage meeting with a young man named Masaki. She goes along to humor her mother, but ends up becoming attracted to Masaki. When a gigantic military Boomer runs amok, Nene tries to call Linna, but she's too far away. And, looking at Masaki, she wonders -- does she still want to fight Boomers? American release in 2000.
