Synopsis
All is going well for the newly reunited Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan (John Corbett) until one of their lusty bedroom sessions is rudely interrupted by the voice of Big (Chris Noth) on Carrie's answering machine. Although Aidan proceeds like nothing is wrong, it soon becomes apparent that he's still angry with Carrie over her betrayal. Despite Carrie's attempts to treat him well, Aidan persists in giving her the cold shoulder, and things reach a boiling point when Carrie happens upon him spending a little too much quality time with the waitress at Scout. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is devoting quality time to becoming a mother and housewife, and shocks her friends with her announcement that she is quitting her job at the gallery. Her announcement creates some tension between her and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), who Charlotte feels is being particularly judgmental of her decision. Miranda, however, has other worries: while arguing on the phone she pulls her neck out, and subsequently finds herself -- naked, of course -- being rescued by Aidan, who offered to come over when Carrie couldn't. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) wins another round in the battle for gender equality when, after being told by her latest fling that she could stand a bikini waxing, she turns the tables on him and forces him to submit to some very personal grooming.
