Synopsis
Carrie's feeling the pressure of getting married and subsequently suffocates when trying on wedding dresses. Miranda wonders when her maternal instincts will kick in?, Pressure to plan her wedding is driving Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) to distraction, and she worries as she tries on wedding gowns that she doesn't really want to get married to Aidan (John Corbett) or, for that matter, anyone else. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) worries about her lack of maternal feelings when she's not excited to discover she's having a boy. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) worries that she's having monogamous feelings when she catches Richard at a fundraiser with another woman and demands that he stop sleeping around. After the fundraiser, Aidan tells Carrie that he wants to get married there and then, and when Carrie refuses, realizing Aidan doesn't trust her, they both conclude that an already faltering engagement has finally been drop-kicked into the grave. Charlotte (Kristin Davis), meanwhile, refuses to lament the disintegration of her own union by taking tap-dancing lessons.
