Synopsis
Infuriated by Jack Tenrec's continuing interference in their poaching operations, Hammer Terhune decides it's time to take Jack down by mounting an assault on his garage -- an armored fortress of technological equipment sitting on top of an active volcano. A bit later, while Kirgo is taking Hannah to the garage on his ferry, they find a girl adrift at sea. Her name is Mikla, and she claims to have run away from the poachers, but was left adrift when they found her and smashed her boat. Once they reach the garage, she warns an indifferent Jack that poachers are on their way, and helps fight off an advance scouting party. Hannah still doesn't trust Mikla, but the normally wary Jack has no time to decide if her doubts are merited or if it's simple jealousy -- the Terhunes have mounted an all-out assault on the garage.
