Synopsis
Crime drama series. After Banks suffers a massive personal loss and also discovers that DS Annie Cabbot is back with her former boyfriend, he is forced to navigate a complex murder investigation while still grieving. As the team piece together the movements of a young Estonian woman found dead on waste ground, they uncover a world of prostitution and drugs hidden behind a veneer of respectability. The murder victim had come to the UK to search for her sister who had recently gone missing. No one wants to talk but they eventually trace her sister's pimp, who claims to run a legitimate escort business. DI Helen Morton and Banks make inroads with the prostitutes' driver and Helen begins to suspect that his autistic son might have a connection with Katrin's death. Ser. 5, Ep. 1.
