Synopsis
Kim Hollingsworth is being stalked by her ex-boyfriend Michael. She approaches the police for protection and when an officer visits he demands sex in return for his services. Kim gets rid of him and reports the incident - but the news soon gets back. Kim's friend and fellow working girl Wanda is found dead. Debbie Locke begins to suffer discrimination from her Fraud Squad colleagues. Then come death threats which are the last straw. Debbie clears her desk, photocopying evidence of corruption and taking her duty book. She then joins forces with husband Greg Locke and politician John Hatton in agitating for a royal commission into the NSW Police Force - a turn of events that proves fortuitous for John Ibrahim. Frustrated by the indolence, corruption and his own inability to tackle drug dealing as a uniformed officer, Joe Dooley leaves Kings Cross Police Station and applies for the detective's course at Goulburn Police Academy.
