Synopsis
When Probationary Constable Wendy Jones crosses paths with nightclub owner John Ibrahim the attraction is mutual. But when they go on a scuba-diving trip she starts to have second thoughts. Debbie Webb's career is in tatters as she sinks deeper into alcoholism. But she does strike up a rapport with Kim Hollingsworth. Still after the commissioner's job, Dennis Kelly joins the National Crime Authority - and soon abuses his privileges to dig up dirt on rival Sid Hiller. When Chief Inspector Gerry Lloyd investigates Dennis' financial affairs she discovers assets incompatible with a chief inspector's salary. While she cannot prove that he is corrupt, she throws him out of the NCA and back to the NSW Police.
