Synopsis
Dr Mark Davies leads his crack team of young archaeologists to Longoar Bay to investigate three stone coffins that were discovered when part of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Footpath crumbled into the sea due to bad weather. High winds, rain and dust make investigation of the burials difficult and the cliff is inaccessible from the beach below due to rocks and boulders blocking access. The only way the team can investigate the coffins is by abseiling down from the cliff top, and creating a safe platform from which the archaeologists can work to investigate, record and recover any human remains. Could the crumbling cliffs and enigmatic coffins hold the key to the origins of Christianity in Britain?.
