Synopsis
While Sybil (Prunella Scales) is in hospital with an ingrown toenail, Basil (John Cleese) is left to oversee operations at the Fawlty Towers by himself. Basil decides to stage a fire drill, which goes well enough until Manuel (Andrew Sachs) happens to start a real fire in the kitchen. While trying to put out the fire, Basil is injured by a fire extinguisher; he's taken to hospital, returning just in time to have to deal with a group of German tourists, around whom he finds he must be very careful about what he says.
