Synopsis
Steve (Jack Davenport) and Susan (Sarah Alexander) have decided to move in together. But during a simple group shopping expedition to furnish their new flat, Jeff (Richard Coyle) gets a chance to prove his rather elaborate theory about the three stages of embarrassment. Something strange, it seems, has occurred between Steve and Sally (Kate Isitt), and they're both acting like complete freaks about it. As it turns out, though, the root cause lies not with Sally and Steve, but with Sally and Patrick (Ben Miles). Originally broadcast September 17, 2001, on BBC2, "Her Best Friend's Bottom" marked season two, episode three of the hit Britcom.
