Synopsis
After their disastrous attempt at a sexual encounter, Sally (Kate Isitt) and Patrick (Ben Miles) seek the solace and advice of their best mates. Steve (Jack Davenport) and Jeff (Richard Coyle) commiserate with Patrick about his visit from what Jeff calls "the Melty Man." Meanwhile, Susan (Sarah Alexander) and Jane (Gina Bellman) provide Sally with similar moral support. Ultimately, though, it's Sally and Patrick who must resolve their sexual differences. And as it turns out, the problem is less physical than it originally seemed. Originally broadcast September 24, 2001, on BBC2, "The Melty Man Cometh" marked season two, episode four of the hit Britcom.
