Gotcha

As Susan (Sarah Alexander) approaches the one-year anniversary of her first date with Steve (Jack Davenport), she begins to wonder where their relationship is heading. Speculation as to whether the two will become engaged leads Sally (Kate Isitt) and Jane (Gina Bellman) to freak out about their own romantic prospects, or lack thereof. Jane, as usual, projects her own insecurities elsewhere -- in this case, onto Susan, who is, of course, her replacement as Steve's girlfriend. By the time Susan and Steve head out for their anniversary dinner, Susan is so worked up that she decides to work Steve up under the table -- with her feet -- while he's trying to peruse the dinner specials. All of this anxiety and inappropriate foreplay eventually ends with the couple's emotional cards on the table. Meanwhile, Patrick (Ben Miles) experiences some anxiety of his own when an ex-girlfriend doesn't seem to recognize or remember him.
