Fledgling

Jo is happily married to policeman Steve, with two young children: on the face of it, the perfect family. But Steve is always distracted by his exciting job, and the kids are busy at school and no longer need Jo 24/7, leaving her with the housework and the weekly shop. Beneath the surface, Jo feels boring and invisible. That is, until she accidentally shoplifts. Initially horrified, the fear of being caught gives her a rush that she hasn't felt in a long time. Over a few months, she gradually increases the amount of her shoplifting, developing a range of tricks to avoid detection until - inevitably - she is caught. Taken to a police station, it all suddenly becomes horribly real: she is a criminal, and treated as such. But will she be able to hide this fact from Steve..?.
