Synopsis
Back in Florida, Burmese python finds are way down. But that doesn't mean the hunters are out of business. They take the pulse of a native biter, dance with a cobra, and then their mission goes nuclear to check on the health of Florida's threatened American crocodile. Joining forces with a fellow snake enthusiast, the team heads out at nightfall in search of one of Florida's most abundant rattlesnakes. The dusky pygmy is tiny but aggressive. After filling a bucket with enough pygmies to prove the population is going strong, it's time for an impromptu snake race. Snake venom expert Carl Barden gives the guys a tour of his medical toxin laboratory and introduces the hunters to two cobra species they hope to encounter on their upcoming Thai adventure. The cooling ponds at Turkey Point nuclear power plant are the ideal habitat for American crocodiles and the guys join wildlife biologist Joe Wasilewski for a dangerous conservation mission after dark.
