Synopsis
On the final leg of their adventure Down Under, the hunters team up with local experts to help protect endangered species, heal wounded animals, and return a few back to the wild. The guys search for the famed Keelback snake at night. They join Bob Irwin, father of late Crocodile Hunter and wildlife expert Steve Irwin, to help save endangered sea turtles. After snorkeling along the Great Barrier Reef, an altercation with ATV drivers proves why conservation is so difficult. After tending to some injured pythons in a private home in Cairns, the guys join snake advocate Justin Mahoney and discover a coastal carpet python and a spiny echidna. Before heading home, Bob Irwin invites the guys to join in a special rehabilitation mission to bring two injured sea turtles to a human hospital. Releasing two recovered sea turtles back into the wild is a highlight for everyone, even if the tide washes in some bad news.
