Synopsis
Greg Grainger presents Travel Oz, the ultimate adventures and experiences in Australian Travel. Greg travels to Lord Howe Island, the jewel in the South Pacific, for some close encounters with some rare and amazing birds. Ascending Mt Gower, Greg and environmentalist Ian Hutton first sight the aerial courtship of Red - Tailed Tropic Birds as they fly backwards. At a higher altitude, Ian's call fills the sky with Providence Petrels before one lands on Greg's head. The remarkable comeback story of the Lord Howe Island Woodhen is also featured. Greg tops his nature hike off with a dive to investigate the rich marine life of Lord Howe.The Two Tims escape from the Fremantle gaol, steal gold from the Perth Mint and discover the maritime history of Fremantle in the isolated yet magical city of Perth. The Two Tims then escape the mainland and encounter Quokkas on Rottnest Island. Greg investigates the overabundant koala population of Kangaroo Island.
