Synopsis
Greg Grainger presents Travel Oz, the ultimate adventures and experiences in Australian travel. In the first Travel Oz, we'll explore the remote Christmas Island, deep in the Indian Ocean, head into the heart of Aboriginal territory in Arnhem Land and step back in time on Norfolk Island. On Christmas Island we'll follow the mass migration of millions of red crabs, come face to face with the giant robber crabs and enjoy the magical scenery of this tropical paradise.Guest reporters Tim Charody and Tim Doyle (The Two Tims) go on a walk-about through Arnhem Land to explore the culture of the aborigines in the community of Barunga, ahead of a major music festival. They'll look at ancient customs from didgeridoo-making to basket weaving.Then later, we'll step back in time to meet descendants of the Bounty Mutineers, as we travel to Norfolk Island for their annual Bounty Day celebrations.
