Synopsis
This episode of Travel Oz features the special phenomena of the Horizontal Waterfalls, the fishing town of Karumba, the diving sensations of Lord Howe Island and the Wildlife refuge that is Kangaroo Island. We visit Australia's Kimberly coast, famous for its King Tides, these tidal movements can reach up to nine metres and create a very special phenomena known as the Horizontal Waterfalls. Next the two Tims explore a small town with a big fishing trade, Karumba,the gateway to the wild Gulf of Carpentaria.Next Vet Dr Sally Debney experiences the diving sensations of Lord Howe Island and its prolific birdlife for which it is renowned for and we return to the wildlife refuge off the South Australian Coast, Kangaroo Island.
