Synopsis
Stunning documentary series. Diving with great white sharks off the coast of Mexico and thrills galore in a jetboat on the Niagara River!, Over the last ten years, the world's weather has become more and more violent, and many have witnessed dozens of hurricanes, tornados and volcanic firestorms. Angry Planet will take the audience on an extraordinary tour of the world's most extreme natural phenomena as we film a collection of unique and hair-raising situations involving tornados, hurricanes, blizzards and anything else Mother Nature could hit us with. Three explorations into the wild water that makes up over 70% of our angry planet. First, George travels to Guadaloupe Island off the coast of Mexico to dive with 16 foot Great White Sharks. He then uses drysuit and kayak to retrace the explorations of Tom Woodward into a flooded Northern Ontario cave in the middle of winter, then jetboats into the world's biggest Class VI whitewater rapids in the Niagara River.
