Synopsis
Adam's tour of the taste buds takes him to Rochester, New York. Before he hits the streets, he makes a quick detour to catch a NASCAR race at Watkins Glen International to root on NASCAR driver Joey Logano. Next he's off to Campi's to try a taste of a sub sandwich called a steak bomber. The steak bomber sandwich includes sliced steak, onions, mushrooms, assorted peppers, provolone cheese and Rochester's signature condiment: spicy meat sauce. Then he makes a pit stop at the legendary late night eatery, Nick Tahou's. Adam sinks his teeth into a unique regional delicacy called a garbage plate, which consists of baked beans, macaroni salad, French fries, home fries, and topped with a hot dog, a cheeseburger and Rochester's famous hot meat sauce. And finally, Adam pulls in to Sticky Lips BBQ to help Joey Logano finish a different type of race, one that isn't on a racetrack. Joey will have 30 minutes to finish the Atomic Bomb Challenge, a three-pound bacon double cheeseburger loaded with pulled pork and the meaty Rochester hot sauce over an additional pound of fries. If Joey finishes this monstrosity, he'll win a t-shirt, and his name goes on the restaurant marquee.
