Synopsis
In this episode, young couple Tom and Zoe decide to build their own home rather than settle for the uninspiring homes that £90k will get them in Cambridgeshire. Although on the outside their house must remain fairly conventional, they plan to make it spectacular on the inside. Even the most basic of interiors is a challenge on their budget but they aim to create a home that is surprising and spectacular. Piers advises them to adopt a radical approach to the building to save money and Kieran helps them source inexpensive items. Yet as the money starts to run dry they are forced to make increasingly unconventional cost saving suggestions. Was it ever possible for Tom and Zoe to create their dream home on this budget?.
