天禄非地球人 天禄醒来狂性大发，袭击白素和斯理，斯理反抗剌伤天禄，天禄流出来的血竟是绿色，令众人震惊。保云回忆天禄死后，曾问费格关于天禄之死因，但他语焉不详只道他死了。白素对天禄的尸体多年不腐化，大感奇怪，得保云同意，解剖天禄尸体，发现尸体已萎缩只剩下骨架，而骨架与人体的不同，斯理怀疑保云父子非人类。 斯理向郑太询问天禄的生平，天禄来自东南亚，并没亲人，他曾发烧和腹泻，经费格治疗后康复，此外并没特别事。郑太将天禄遗下的锁匙交给保云，保云在花园中找到一宝箱，内里有天禄的日记，证实天禄和保云非纯粹地球人。保云为保密，劝郑太停止对斯理的委托，更找费格拿回天禄的病历，但费格威胁他，敲诈更多金钱，保云在争执中错手杀死他。费格之死，引起斯理的怀疑，而白素验尸后，发现他是死于谋杀，斯理茅头直指保云，白素半信半疑，叫斯理有证据才可指证他。 保云约会白素，向她示爱，白素拒绝谓二人只是普通朋友。保云认为白素是因为他是外星和地球人混血儿才拒绝他，心生愤恨。后保云发现红红暗中调查自己，更把自己的行踪告知斯理，不禁大怒，决意报复。天禄往医院找白素，再向她示爱，白素多番解释，仍未能令保云放弃，保云突然发难，胁持白素。.
