Multi award-winning food writer and TV cook Nigella Lawson, the critically acclaimed chef Ludo Lefebvre, and food maverick Anthony Bourdain, continue their search for the first British winner of The Taste - the high stakes cooking competition where flavour is the only thing that matters. In episode two the three mentors see their hand-picked contestants in action for the first time. Guest chef Richard Corrigan sets and judges a 'classic' challenge, where the mentors must coach their cooks to create the best prawn cocktail. Then, in the elimination challenge, the cooks are on their own as the mentors return to the role of judges. Tensions reach boiling point as Nigella, Ludo and Anthony collectively decide on the bottom three - one of whom faces elimination.
