Holder feels stung that he has been betrayed by Sloane and by the fact that Sarah thinks he's a dirty cop. He makes a half-hearted effort to attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, but ends up leaving and falling back into old habits. However, when Sarah finds out about Rosie's backpack, she begins to question Holder's involvement in the cover-up and attempts to get in touch with him. She continues searching for other suspects, concentrating on the casino and Beau Soleil, only to run up against a brick wall, but some recovered video footage may provide a much needed break in the case. Janek, who's been looking into Rosie's murder for Stan, is selective about the details he reveals and has begun to lure Stan back into the fold. Mitch maintains her distance from the family, doing her best to forget all that she's left behind. Meanwhile, Richmond is determined to return to his campaign, but first he must confront his medical condition.
