Marcínekovci stavajú dom, pretože ich rodina sa rozrástla. Kým ho postavia, bývajú u Klaudiiných rodičov, kde úplne stratili súkromie a tiež kontrolu nad výchovou Lily. U Jančichovcov je situácia hektická. Je koniec školského roka a Jano uzatvára známky. Okrem toho sa Gorazd dostal do problémov a hrozí mu dvojka zo správania. Laco sa snaží znovu dať dokopy skupinu Ofsajd, ale okrem neho sa z kapely už nikto neživí hudbou. Ostatní členovia dávajú prednosť práci. Preto si Laco doma privyrába ako učiteľ hudby. Mladá generácia však podľa neho nemá šajnu o tom, čo je to poriadny rokenrol. Pre všetky tri rodiny je spoločný odchod na chalupu vykúpením. Už samotná cesta však napovedá, že to nebude také idylické, ako si predstavujú. Po príchode na chalupu deti navyše zistia, že sused zmizol.
