Zdeno sľúbil, že naučí Lily plávať. Jano pre tento účel zostrojí prístroj, ktorý vyskúšajú na rybníku. Zjaví sa tam tiež Lojzo s Indiánom a Maroškom. V skutočnosti sa prišli len ukázať, aby mali alibi, pretože sa chystajú kradnúť kukuricu. Lojzo pozvoláva všetky decká, aby ju zozbierali čo najrýchlejšie. Indián tvrdí, že s majiteľom poľa majú všetko dohodnuté. Keď však po nich začne ktosi strieľať, všetkým je jasné, že klamal. Chlapi sa zobudia pri rybníku a nevedia nájsť decká. Pribehne Maroško, ktorému sa podarilo ujsť pred starým Slivkom. Chlapi síce nevedia, čo od nich chce, ale bežia za ním. Zistia, že deti sú zajaté v maringotke. Anežku, ktorá bežala pred Slivkom, zastaví polícia. Keďže nenájdu rodičov pri rybníku, vezmú ju na policajnú stanicu a volajú Marike. Panika nastáva aj v Bratislave.
