Heinz und Ulli brechen aus einer Jugendstrafanstalt aus und springen an einer Stelle, an der der ICE langsam fährt, auf den fahrenden Zug auf. Ulli, der begeistert Gitarre spielt, will zum Musikwettbewerb "Die goldene Gitarre". Unterwegs lernen die beiden zwei Mädchen kennen.
