Marike je stále zle. Všetci ju obskakujú a deti si nikto nevšíma. Tie však vedia, že trest za ukradnuté auto ich neminie. Snažia sa potrestať samy, a to tak, že usilovne upratujú. Všetko, čo spravia však situáciu len vyostruje. Mamy napokon zavelia, že deti treba zobrať na taký výlet, ktorý pre ne bude trestom. Jano mal pre všetkých v pláne cyklistický výlet po myjavskej magistrále. Deti sa však tešia a vyzerá to tak, že to skôr bude trest pre Laca a Zdena. Zatiaľ, čo výprava otcov a detí šliape k Mohyle Milana Rastislava Štefánika, Marikin stav sa zhoršuje. Dáša sa proti jej vôli rozhodne vziať ju do Bratislavy. Pri vymýšľaní tvrdého trestu pre deti si Jano spomenie na strašidelný zážitok z detstva, ktorý sa udial v stane hrôzy v pionierskom tábore.
