Synopsis
'Trainspotting' star Robert Carlyle here plays a young policeman whose beat is the seemingly sleepy Highland village of Lochdubh, in the quirky drama series that came before 'Monarch of the Glen'. Hamish outwits his superiors when he makes the connection between two apparently unrelated mysteries: the theft of a large amount of table salt and the disappearance of a local bully.
