Synopsis
Gentle police drama series with Robert Carlyle as the canny copper who knows how to play the system. Isobel briefly returns to Lochdubh to help two Glasgow friends escape from a gang. A generous Lachie Jnr lodges them at his funeral parlour. When the gangsters arrive in pursuit of the pair, Hamish and the villagers close ranks, and the old legend of Wee MacPhee raises its head. For once, it seems as if the hoods have met their match.
