Synopsis

DCs Janet Scott and Rachel Bailey tackle some of the most extreme crimes imaginable while also dealing with their own personal struggles. Rachel's self-destructive behaviour begins to have an effect on Janet's daughter Taisie. Janet, meanwhile, is mortified when Gill berates her for inappropriate behaviour towards young sergeant Rob. The duo investigate the death of a care home resident whose daughter complains about the level of care he was receiving. Will they find any evidence of foul play?, Janet and Rachel investigate a suspicious death at a care home and uncover evidence of abuse. Both Dorothy and Gill have reason to be concerned about Rachel's behaviour.
