Synopsis
Documentary. Journalist Nick Wallis joins police forces on the road and in the air to reveal how CCTV and technological advances are helping to ensure convictions. Footage includes mugging at knifepoint at a train station, a jewellery shop ramraided in west London by a gang who spray bleach in the eyes of security guards and smash down the doors with pickaxes while the terrified staff cower inside. Without warning the guy takes a knife out of his pocket and threatens a woman coming towards him. The robbery lasts just seconds but he is caught on camera and later tracked down and arrested. In west London, a criminal gang are out to ram-raid a jewellery shop. Exclusive footage shows just how far these gangs will go to get what they want. Spraying bleach in the eyes of security guards and smashing down the doors with pick axes, while the terrified staff cower inside.
