Synopsis
A nurse's aid in Cincinnati has what doctors who work with him call 'a run of bad luck,' as his elderly patients always seem to die under his supervision. So many of the aid's patient's die, he is nicknamed the hospital's 'angel of death.' It isn't until an autopsy of one of his patients suggests cyanide poisoning, that a police investigation of the hospital's employees is undergone. When the nurse's aid pleads guilty to just one murder, the hospital employees cooperate with the police in exchange for anonymity, and lead investigators to evidence implicating this 'angel of death' to nearly 70 murders over a 17-year period.
