Synopsis
Taking us back to the beginning of the legend, this prequel tells the story of the original Champion of the House of Batiatus, Gannicus (Dustin Clare, Underbelly), whose skill with a sword is matched only by his thirst for wine and women. Devoid of morality and driven by greed, dastardly husband and wife team Batiatus (John Hannah, Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Lucretia (Lucy Lawless, Xena: Warrior Princess) are back too, stopping at nothing to seize power. Plus, Brit actress Jaime Murray (Dexter) will be slipping into a toga for a raunchy role.
