Synopsis
Taking us back to the beginning of the legend, this prequel tells the story of the original Champion of the House of Batiatus, Gannicus whose skill with a sword is matched only by his thirst for wine and women. Devoid of morality and driven by greed, dastardly husband and wife team Batiatus (John Hannah, Four Weddings and a Funeral) and Lucretia (Lucy Lawless, Xena: Warrior Princess) are back too, stopping at nothing to seize power. Plus, Brit actress Jaime Murray (Dexter) will be slipping into a toga for a raunchy role.
