Synopsis
Multi award-winning food writer and TV cook Nigella Lawson; critically-acclaimed chef Ludo Lefebvre; and legendary food maverick Anthony Bourdain return for another round of the cooking competition that's all about The Taste. Six cooks remain - all hoping to prove that they can produce the best tasting food in Britain. This week is all about meat, and features the master of 'nose to tail' cooking Fergus Henderson as guest chef. To progress to the semi-final the cooks have to prove they can make exceptional food from the very finest cuts of meat and from the 'forgotten cuts', like bone marrow and tripe. As the series reaches the business end of the competition - who has what it takes to stand out from the crowd?, In the Season 2 finale, the four remaining chefs prepare meals using tripe, liver, wagyu beef, scallops and foie gras. Then, the final three have two hours to put together a breakfast, lunch and dinner.
