Synopsis
A trip to the Canadian Arctic, Mexico, California and Uzbekistan to explore pollution's toll. In Canada, seals---and people---are being harmed by soot from factories thousands of miles south. But elsewhere the source of the pollution is much closer: a Soviet farming experiment gone awry, destroying the Aral Sea; industrial activity in Tijuana and a San Diego barrio. In these places, residents are victims of what host Matt Damon calls "environmental discrimination.".
