Synopsis
The prime minister has been shot, though not fatally, prompting the creation of a Department of Public Safety and Security -- with Colonel Hirokawa placed at its head. Captains Akata and Kaburagi, left behind at the base because of TA problems, pick up Yushiro when he calls out of the blue to say he's arrived in Tokyo. When they ask what happened, he only tells them that Miharu was captured by Americans, and that Miharu was the Symbol TA pilot they encountered in Belgistan. The three break into the Yokota American military base where Miharu is being kept, and Yushiro, piloting a TA, goes in to retrieve her. (American release in 2001.), Ataka and Kaburagi chance upon Yushiro. After learning from him that Miharu's been captured by Symbol, they join his efforts to rescue her by storming an air base.
