Synopsis
Colonel Hayakawa returns, apologizing to the rest of the Experimentation Company; he had been in discussions with Mr. Nishida for two days straight, and has decided to help him. The company is to be placed under the command of Colonel Hirokawa in a few hours, and Hayakawa asks that everyone make up their minds as to what they want to do. Meanwhile, Symbol councilman Meth is dismayed to learn that Miharu is still in a daze, with no reaction to anything around her. Meth arranges for transport back to the United States, where Miharu can be examined more extensively. That evening, a mob gathers outside the Diet to protest the dusk-to-dawn curfew and demand answers about the grain shortage. Hayakawa and his team arrive with two TAs to help with crowd control, but the crowd's anger bubbles over and the TA pilots become overwhelmed with the task of stopping the mass of people without killing anyone. (American release in 2001.).
