Synopsis
Jeff (Richard Coyle) gets to demonstrate his apocalyptically inept way with women when he makes googly eyes at a lovely stranger (Anat Dychtwald) down at the pub. Goaded by Steve (Jack Davenport) and Patrick (Ben Miles) into making contact, Jeff is crestfallen to learn that the Israeli lass doesn't speak English. Although the girl gets dragged away by her less attractive interpreter, Alice (Ruth Lass), Jeff reconnects with her the next night. Unfortunately, their mutual ignorance of each other's languages leads to severe complications. Originally broadcast June 9, 2000, on BBC2, The Girl With Two Breasts marked season one, episode five of the hit Britcom. Although this episode was adapted for NBC's American version of Coupling, the show was canceled before it aired.
