Synopsis
Dan Barry has been voted off the show, leaving ten contestants on Survivor: Panama -- Exile Island. With such a reduction in the ranks, the time has come for the traditional merger of the two tribes, with the Casaya and La Mina fusing together to form the single Gitanos tribe (it's the Spanish word for "Gypsies"). Although Casaya is gone, the Casaya alliance remains firmly in force, though Shane Powers continues to irritate his fellow alliance members with his wacky behavior. Once again saved from being voted off by being banished to Exile Island, Sally Schumann conducts a frantic search for the precious Immunity Idol, little suspecting that the amazingly lucky Terry Deitz has already unearthed that particular artifact. Also, a careless Nick Stansbury performs some "accidental dentistry" on Bruce Kanegai with his machete. And Terry Deitz continues his remarkable winning streak with the Immunity Challenge.
