Episode 01

Moore explains to Starr and several members of Congress that there is a cheaper way to conduct a witch trial. The colonial-clad inquisitors faint before Newt Gingrich's office and read from "the book of Starr" (aka the Starr Report). During the second half of the program, Moore introduces Chris Donahue, a man dying because his insurance company refuses to pay for a pancreas transplant. Moore visits the company with invitations to Chris' funeral. Later, a funeral rehearsal, complete with minister, casket, and pallbearers, is held outside the insurance company's office. A week after the filming, the company agreed to pay for the transplant.
