The Seminole Tribe of Florida has taken over management of Billie Swamp Safari, and for incoming Director Brian Zepeda, it's an opportunity to educate the public about the tribe's long history living in the Everglades. Brian's first project will be one of the region's biggest Native American cultural events: The Seminole Shoot-out, a war re-enactment. As Operations Manager, Jay Osceola is responsible for ensuring the well-being of the park's animals and guests. It's up to him to keep the park running in spite of a drought that has left water levels dangerously low. Jay's younger brother Everett has also joined the staff to handle alligators - though he's never confronted a live gator face-to-face. Lesson #1 will be surviving his first class, which includes catching a gator in the swamp. While the young Swamp Men on Billie Swamp staff are still in training, The Seminole Tribe's Wildlife Officers arrive to keep the peace and manage the reptile population. 'Cattail' and 'One Bear' have decades of experience in the Everglades, but even they are tested when nuisance alligators turn up next to a housing development, and the toughest gator at Safari threatens to eat his own offspring.
