Synopsis
In this socially conscious prison drama, a psychiatrist endeavors to bring a human touch to a women's prison by taking a gentler approach to dealing with the inmates. She meets considerable resistance from her guards, who favor strong-arm tactics. The ensuing brouhaha spawns a state board investigation of the correctional facility.
